Easter Egg Hunt 2012

Judy took Max to a doctor's appointment (another ear infection - I'll save that for another blog post) and I took Jake to our annual Easter egg hunt in our neighborhood. What a difference a year makes! He shot off like a rocket to the middle of the field and picking and choosing what he wanted. For some reason, he picked up like 5 candy necklaces.

Jake's Balanced Assessment

At the end of the evaluation, his teacher left a comment: Jake is very friendly to his friends and also has a great sense of humor. We are still working on our letter and number recognition, also he is doing very well with his tracing and he knows the letters in his name. Looking forward to the rest of the year.

He makes Judy and I laugh almost daily with the stuff he says. Today, he screamed at Max for playing his trains and repeated it several times because he wasn't listening and then complained to us and then ask us to put Max in timeout. Silly kid...

When will he know it's the weekend?

It's Saturday and he wakes up at the same time as if it was a school day.  I'm losing precious hours of sleep.  But on the weekend, we get to make breakfast together instead of rushing like normal week days. 

He loves to mix eggs and ask for pancake every day but only gets pancake on the weekend.

Jake's new favorite activity

With the nice weather lately, Jake loves walking the dogs. He prefers to walk Mickey.

First bath together

Max loves splashing the water around so it was time for their first bath together. Jake definitely seem to have more fun/laughing. Max was splashing and watching Jake most of the time. Jake helped 'rinse' Max but seem to pour over his face even though we tell him not to, at least he's trying to help.
