Jake's Spring school pictures - Take 2

If you remember a few months ago, Jake's Spring school pictures didn't turn out very well - Exhibit A. We signed up for re-takes and they turned out much much better. Yes, we bought the entire package this time - $65.

Grapevine Festival

He's really wasn't tall enough to ride the car ride (1-2 inches too short) but the guy was nice enough to let him on. And of course, no trip to a festival would be complete without a ride on the carousel.

Thomas and Friends

We decided to go see Thomas and Friends live on stage. As we were parking and he kept on repeating "Elmo". He remembered being at here the last time watching Elmo. Judy and I looked at each other shocked that he remembered that. Anyways, the show was good but wasn't as good as Elmo - not enough trains. Oh well, it was fun and he seemed to enjoy himself - so much that he fell asleep towards the end :) Wake up kid!!!! Hard earned money was spent!

Moody Garden Aquarium

Over the Mother's day weekend, we went down to Galveston for a small getaway. The Moody Garden Aquarium needs a renovation/update, nevertheless, he enjoyed it. We enjoyed him saying 'shark' all day.

Juice is not a color

So Jake is learning his colors and what ever we are doing, we usually ask "what color is this?" He gets it right 75% of the time. He nails red, blue, green and yellow, purple almost all the time but there is one color he has trouble with. Instead of saying orange he says juice..funny how a 2 year old brain works.
