Jake school pictures - Fall 2011

He's only 2 years and 8 months but he looks so big already. They do grow up fast :(

Jake's 1st Dentist Visit

Well, let's just say that Jake did better than I expected (positive), and he, eventually, let the dental hygienist do everything she needed to inside his mouth (positive), but he wanted absolutely nothing to do with that red chair (negative). Both of us tried unsuccessfully to sit in it while holding him but that didn't help. Hopefully the next check-up in 6 months will go a little more smoothly. We will be taking Max earlier than we did Jake. Lesson learned.

They have a cool horse ride for the kids in the waiting room. He got to ride it once before and after his cleaning. He loved it and wanted to ride it again but it's was time to go back to school.

Pictures from school

Max has fun playing and working on his tummy time!

Always love it when our school sends us pictures...make the money worth it... Ok, not really.

Jake spends the day/night with the Chestnuts

Last Saturday, we went down to Houston to attend Lan's wedding. We decided to go san kids because it's just more fun that way. So we had Grandma watch Max and Jake spend the day/night with Claire, Emma, chi Ha and uncle Chris. It worked out really well because Grandma really really wanted to watch Max and Claire had a birthday party at night and they had a church bazaar during the day. This was technically he first sleepover without Mom or Dad. So obviously we were concerned that he would give the Chestnuts a nightmare situation. But between the church festival and the birthday parties, he had no time to miss his parents. It also helped that Emma and Claire loves playing with Jake. We worried for nothing and chi Ha said he did great. Uncle Chris was nice enough to take some pictures of the day.

Max's Baptism

We went down to Houston last weekend for a wedding, birthdays (more pictures soon) and the most important, Max's baptism. He slept through most of it and didn't cry at all. Judy's sister chi Tuyet and John and his god-parents.
